Add another manga series to the pile of those being adapted into an anime as Kaitou Joker, aka Mysterious Joker, is now slotted for an October 2014 premiere. The series, based on the children’s oriented manga, comes from Hideyasu Takahashi and the news comes with the wraparound obi on the 17th volume of the manga that was just released. The series is set for a standard broadcast rollout this fall with Toyko MX and KIDS STATION listed as the broadcasters with plans for mere details in an upcoming issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine. The series is Takahashi’s first work, which he began back in 2007.
Plot concept: There is nothing in the world that the mysterious phantom thief Joker cannot steal. He goes after one treasure after another in unpredictable capers with seemingly miraculous tricks.
