Community Revitalization

Facilitates strategic redevelopment and investment opportunities within targeted commercial areas that align with the community's vision and that improve the economic vitality, appearance and function of those areas.

Urban Centers

Conducts land use planning, zoning review, urban design and plan implementation in the emerging Transit Oriented Development areas located around Silverline Metro stations in Tysons and Reston.

Enforcing, maintaining and administering the provisions of the Fairfax County Zoning Ordinance and Noise Ordinance, processing zoning applications, and formulating recommendations to the approving bodies.
