We built the expedition yachtSeal in 2002-2004 and ran charters in Greenland, Antarctica, Tierra del Fuego, South Georgia, and in Alaska since 2013.
As much as we loved Antarctica and South Georgia (Hamish sailed there from 1987-2011; Kate from 1998), we found a home in Alaska. Thousands of miles of remote anchorages, untracked wilderness, hiking, back-country skiing, bird watching, bears, and whales make it unequalled for expedition sailing.
Very sadly, Kate passed away in 2023, and for the moment we are no longer charteringSeal,although this may change in the future.
