Journal Mission The mission of theJournal of Lower Genital Tract Disease is to promote excellence in the healthcare of people with diseases of the lower genital tract, to enable healthcare professionals to be well informed, to promote the exchange of ideas, to help advance standards in the conduct and reporting of health research, and to contribute to improving health of people worldwide.
The Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease publishes peer-reviewed scientific articles of original research and systematic reviews and meta-analyses, evidence-based clinical guidelines, evidence based decision aids and algorithms, and recommendations for screening, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the lower genital tract.
The Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease is the official journal of the ASCCP. The Society for Lower Genital Tact Disorders, the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease, the Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and the Society of Canadian Colposcopists.
