Cheerleader Melissa is joining Lucha Underground for its season season.

Melissa, at two-time SHIMMER Champion who previously competed for TNA, is said by the Wrestling Observer to be playing the sister ofMarty “The Moth” Martinez, who most recently squared off withSexy Star in an attempt to claim her Aztec medallion.

Melissa started filming segments for the second season last spring, her addition dependent on the show’s renewal. She currently serves as American branch President for Japanese women’s promotion STARDOM, for which she makes regular tours.

Lucha Underground is set to start filming season two starting November 14th, with tapings running through January 31st. A season two premiere date has not yet been announced.
