This is the original version of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", first released in Australia and New Zealand on 20 September 1976 and including the track "R.I.P. (Rock in Peace)". Do NOT add theinternational release (with the track "Love at First Feel") to this MR.

      Killer!! Wow!! Found this for a few dollars (it’s true) from an antique store. This thing kicks, raw power guitars attack yet midrange creates a nice BIG soundstage. Not as punchy on the low end as the later Robert Ludwig cut albums but just perfect in every way. This fidelity isn’t “nice”, it’s a barroom fight. Do not hesitate to track this one down.           Jagapeanut High Voltage and TNT were never released on vinyl in New Zealand until 1981. It was Australian imports only. Dirty Deeds LP (and the 7") was released in NZ in 1976, and Let There Be Rock LP in 1977, by Music World, licensed from Albert Productions. It's weird, but not impossible, that Albert's would have released the DDDDC cassette themselves here in 1976 (and LTBR in 1978) when the LP was licensed to Music World. The first AC/DC LP released by Albert Productions via EMI in NZ was Powerage, but even then it came in an Atlantic Records sleeve! All the Bon albums were reissued on vinyl in 1981 in NZ on the Albert's label via EMI, with the Australian artwork and tracklistings, which included HV and TNT for the first time in NZ. This was also the first time DDDDC and LTBR were released in NZ by Albert Productions, having previously been released on the Music World label. I'm not sure where you get your info from. I live in New Zealand and other NZ based collectors can confirm this. Also a number of the AC/DC groups on FB can. Can it be proven 100%? No, as there aren't really any catalogues etc to refer to but a lot of New Zealand pressings of many international artists in the 70s are on weird labels or with different cover variations.

                Jagapeanut in 1981, all the Bon Scott LPs were issued in NZ, including High Voltage and TNT for the first time, plus DDDDC as an Albert's release for the first time. All of the sleeves had Code 32 printed on the back, same as this cassette sleeve, which is why I'm thinking this cassette was also 1981 and not 1976.

                        This version is simply the 81 NZ pressing in an Australian cover. Maybe covers have been swapped around over the years or maybe Albert's simply decided to use up excess Aussie covers?
