Derby Children's Book Award winner 2025 Announcement
We are happy to announce the official winner of the Derby Children’s Picture Book Award 2025, 'Flower Block' by Lanisha Butterfield and Hoang Giang (Puffin Books UK)! Well done to all longlisted and shortlisted illustrators, authors, and publishers. We had a record-breaking year in terms of submissions, schools involved, and the number of children around Derby voting. A special thank you to all teachers and those who helped make this possible!
