Welcome to the Delany Archive Trust

The Delany Archive cares for and provides public access to the archival collections of our partner organisations, namely, the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, Sisters of St Brigid (Brigidine Sisters), Brothers of St Patrick (Patrician Brothers), and Carlow College, St Patrick’s. St Patrick’s Missionary Society is in the process of becoming an Archive partner. We also manage deposited collections, including the Archive of St Dympna’s Hospital, Carlow.

The Delany Archive is interested in acquiring archives from individuals and organisations associated with Archive partners, for example, individual priests and members of religious congregations, parishes, schools, alumni and employees.
