Label Guide: Calico
Calico Records was founded in 1958 by Lennie Martin and Lou Guarino to record and publish local bands from the Pittsburgh area. They scored a big hit with one of their first singles, The Skyliners' "Since I Don�t Have You." As far as we know, The Skyliners' first LP remained the sole album release on Calico before the label went into receivership in 1961.
