COMET's education and training is hosted by our MetEd website. Every lesson on this platform is free for all users – registration is quick and easy!

Custom Learning
Based on the needs of our learners, COMET designers use a diverse collection of learning techniques. This includes, scenario-based learning, adaptive learning, gamification, blended learning, micro-learning, direct instruction, peer instruction and mixed reality. We also offer our users just-in-time feedback to accelerate learner growth.
Technology Solutions
COMET implements technologies to improve forecasting operations, observation networks, forecast and warning dissemination systems, and data access.
3-Dimensional Media
We use mixed reality so our learners can experience invisible processes happening around the world. COMET designs and produces educational content for VR systems as well as mobile applications.
