Officers of Arms frequently host weekday evening tours of the College of Arms for groups of not more than twenty people. The groups that visit are typically members of a society or club, though groups of friends, colleagues and associates are also welcome. A tour usually consists of a guided visit to the three principal rooms of the College (the Earl Marshal's Court, the Waiting Room and the Record Room), accompanied by a talk about the history and functions of heraldry, the heralds and the College of Arms. It concludes with an opportunity to see some of the College’s superb archive of heraldic and genealogical manuscripts. The records shown can be customised to the interests of the group. Refreshments can usually be provided by arrangement.
