Welcome to Waskom – “Gateway to Texas“
The residents and I would like to welcome you to Waskom. We are located on the eastern edge of Harrison County off I-20 and at the Louisiana state line. Waskom is home for over 2,000 residents that enjoy living and raising their family in a small town. We have a beautiful 9 acre Park where you can play tennis, volleyball and go fishing in the City pond. We are also planning to have more activities in the park in the near future.
Beautiful Caddo Lake and State Park is about a 30 min. drive north on FM9, where you can enjoy fishing, camping, boating and skiing. We have several restaurants where you and the family can enjoy some of the best eating in East Texas. If you are thinking of relocating or moving your business to Waskom, I would like to invite you to stop by City Hall any time and visit with us and we will do everything we can to make your experience in Waskom a very pleasant one.
