Air Guilin (GT,Guilin) has indeed commenced operations with its maiden revenue flight on Saturday, June 25. The flight, a return service between Guilin andZhengzhou, was operated by one of the start-up's twoA319-100s, B-6192 (cn 3768).
Though it will initially focus on domestic Eastern Chinese flights, the HNA Group subsidiary plans to expand its network over the coming five years to include cities in Central and Southern China as well as Southeast Asia, that are within 2-hour flying radius from Guilin.
