Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo) has endedAirbus (AIB,Toulouse Blagnac) operations following the return of its twoA321-200 (SL)s to their lessor - China's ICBC Leasing - this past weekend. Skyliner Aviation reports EI-VKO (cn 6678) and EI-LED (cn 6726) are now in storage atTeruel.
Averaging three months of age, the aircraft were part of an order for six the ailing Russian carrier signed with ICBC in December of last year.
As it currently stands, Transaero's fleet now constitutes twoB737-300s, fourB737-400s, tenB737-500s, twelveB737-800s, nineB747-400s, twoB767-200(ER)s, eightB767-300(ER)s, sixB777-200(ER)s, fourB777-300s, and three Tu-204s.
Transaero's lastB737-700 has also been returned to the lessor already.
