Jerusalem Talmud, one of twocompilations of Jewish religious teachings and commentary that was transmitted orally for centuries prior to itscompilation by Jewish scholars in Palestine. The other such compilation, produced in Babylon, is called theBabylonian Talmud, or TalmudBavli.
