Bockfest is Cincinnati’s annual celebration of Spring, Over-the-Rhine's brewing heritage, and Bock Beer. It stumbles into its 33rd year on March 7-9, 2025 in and around Over-the-Rhine's historic Brewery District.

We return to our roots in the neighborhood with four partners hosting events as our official Bockfest Halls: Moerlein Lager House, Northern Row Brewery & Distillery,  Rhinegeist Brewery and new for 2025 Rosedale OTR.

Admission to enjoy the Parade, bock beer, music, and entertainment at all Bockfest Halls and official venues is FREE all weekend long. 

Kick off the weekend at Noon onFriday with a keg tapping celebrating 171 years of Moerlein beer and the Official Bockfest Happy Hour.  Friday night also brings the Inaugural BockfestCry Baby Goat Calling Competition with celebrity judges - Have your favorite goat call?

Friday, Saturday &Sunday hosts theBock Beer Experience to sample over 30 bock beers, Brewer's Competition,Ohio State Bockfest Steinholding Official Qualifer andBockfest Buffet Dinner with Jack Speed and the Freddies.

Saturday andSunday are theOfficial Bockfest Brunch, Brewery Tour, and Beer Tasting at Moerlein Lager House with a Brewer.

Finish off the weekend with our German Day celebration called Continental Sunday with German Dancers, German Bands and Speaker Series. Plus,Bockfest Brunch, Brewery Tour and Tastingand theBockfest Beer Experience

Live music and 15 bock beers are featured at Northern Row all weekend.

Celebrate theparade awards with us onSaturday and the return of theBeard Baron Competion .

Goat petting zoo and the .05K Fun Run with the FC Cincinnati Street Team wraps ups the weekend onSunday.

Live music and26 bock beers are featured at Rhinegeist all weekend.

Saturday sees the finals of theSausage Queencompetition followed by the always amazing Klaberheads on stage after the crowning of the queen.

Sunday, stretch those muscles with two chances to do someGoat Yoga while you enjoy a bock beer or two. 

Live music and 12 bock beers are featured at Rosedale all weekend.

Join in on post-parade ceremonies Friday followed by live music from the Überland Band. The Cincinnati Grill will be on site from 5-11 pm

Saturday continues with Bock the Block: Bockfest Street Party from 3P-11P. They're turning 12th & Main Street into a full blown bock beer block party with a stage, beer, music and more.  Music from The Polka Warriors and Lunchbox and the Cincinnati Grill from 1-11pm.  Steinholding will happen between sets @ 6:30pm

Wind down the weekend on Sunday with another chance to doGoat Yoga, then enjoy one more bock beer paired with a traditional Pig Roast. 

Join the Brewing Heritage Trail on this special, Bockfest Weekend Tour (March 8 & 9), with access to a historic brewery not normally open to the public and only available through this tour!

The Lafayette Brewery originally opened in 1832 and its brewhouse is the oldest brewing structure in Cincinnati! Built at a time when lager beer was just beginning to be brewed in the city, it also has the oldest accessible underground cellars in Cincinnati! The brewery later became a malthouse, as part of Albert Schwill & Company, who would go on to become the largest producers of brewing malt in the world.

Upon arriving at the Lafayette Brewery, we'll grab a bock beer (included with the 21 & up tour ticket) and check out the site from top to bottom, learning about it's storied past, current activities, and future plans for the facility.
