About /Resident Companies
Bass Performance Hall is the permanent home to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and the Cliburn. Each resident company operates independently from Performing Arts Fort Worth and manages its own programming schedule at Bass Hall.
Since its inception in 1912, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra has educated, entertained, and enhanced the cultural framework of the city. Today, the FWSO performs a broad range of symphonic and pops concerts each year for an audience of more than 200,000 adults and children from all walks of life. The Orchestra is recognized nationally for the strength and uniqueness of its education and outreach program, as well as its collaborations with other local fine arts organizations.

Texas Ballet Theater is the only fully professional, classical ballet company in North Texas and is honored to be the only arts organization to serve as resident company for Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth and AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas. TBT is an internationally recognized company built on a rich 55-year history; it boasts a repertoire that is creative, expressive and collaborative.
