WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND WATER POLO CLUB!
The University of Queensland Water Polo Club, formerly known as the Barracudas Water Polo Club, has a long and impressive history, dating back to 1963. We’re a well established grassroots and elite sporting club that has bred several Olympians and won a variety of high level competitions, from QLD Premier League to State and National Titles across all age groups.
We provide a pathway from under twelves to seniors, the Olympics, and beyond, and our club is open and inclusive for all. So whether you’re new to water polo or an elite athlete, we cater to all skill levels. You do not need to be a UQ student to play.
