(1) If—
(a) anorder is made by the Court ina civilproceeding for the payment of money; and
(b) a warrant to seize property hasbeen returned unsatisfied in whole or in part—
aregistrar must, on the application of the person entitled to enforce theorder, give that person a certificate of theorder and of the amount remainingunpaid under theorder and record the fact of the giving of the certificate inthe register of the Court.
(2) A person who is given a certificate undersubsection (1) may file the certificate in the Supreme Court and, on thefiling of the certificate, judgment is deemed to have been entered in theSupreme Court for the sum mentioned in the certificate as being unpaidtogether with all fees paid for obtaining and filing the certificate and theprescribed amount for costs.
(3) After the issue of a certificate undersubsection (1) no furtherproceedings (other thanproceedings under theJudgment Debt Recovery Act 1984) must be taken in theMagistrates' Courtbut, on the filing of the certificate in the Supreme Court, the judgmentdeemed to have been entered may be enforced by the same means as anyother judgment entered in the Supreme Court, including enforcement undertheForeign Judgments Act 1962.
