Arc Creative is a student organisation dedicated to providing professional development opportunities and social activities to UNSW Art & Design students to make the Arts more accessible. 

At Arc Creative we encourage you to experiment, engage and enjoy. Whether you're into art, design, curation, writing, editing, podcasting, filming or social media, Arc will help you develop your skills and find like-minded students to collaborate with, equipment, and spaces to get your work out there. We’ve got exhibition spaces to show your work, student-run media to publish your writing and podcasts, and industry-experiencedArc staff to mentor your creative journey and teach you those things you don't learn in the classroom.

Kudos

Since 1998, Kudos has provided a platform for the next generation of artists, designers, and curators to execute experimental project ideas through exhibitions, public programs and our digital space.

Kudos is dedicated to fostering the professional practices of UNSW ADA students and early-career creatives through a variety of volunteering and exhibition programs. At the core of our programming is a commitment to equipping students with the skills they need to navigate and achieve success in the world outside of art school. 

We hold with pride that our platform has been a steppingstone for some of Australia’s most established artists, designers, and curators including 2013 Archibald Prize winner Del Kathryn Barton (Unreflective Immersions, 1998), 2015 AGNSW Sulman Prize winner Jason Phu (Golden Century, 2008), and 2020 NSW Visual Arts Emerging Fellow Dennis Golding (Kudos Emerging Awards, 2018).

AD Space

AD Space is an on-campus gallery space led by early career artists 

Since 2017, AD Space has supported artists, designers, curators and writers at UNSW Art & Design during a crucial stage in their career. 

We work with them to deliver a student-led program of exhibitions, workshops and professional development opportunities. Yearly highlights include the Tim Olsen Drawing Prize, Jenny Birt Award and ANNUAL graduate exhibition.

We are a student-run exhibition space which empowers students to develop their practice, take risks and connect with audiences.
