Following community consultation in 2024, where residents shared how they use the swim centre and what features they’d like in a modernised facility, AlburyCity has developed draft concept designs in collaboration with architectural and design practice Canvas Projects.

Now, we’re inviting community feedback on these designs.

We're seeking your feedback to be included as part of a report to council on whether to make an application for a half day, or full day public holiday, or to not proceed with any application to the NSW Government for a public holiday to be declared in the Albury Local Government Area.

Infrastructure upgrades will be delivered to each precinct over the coming years, commencing with Precinct 1. Works will include intersection upgrades, public transport facilities, paths, placemaking infrastructure and more.
