WWII [1939-1940s]
World War II necessitated aircraft advances driven by a rivalry for air superiority. Warfare demanded that aircraft fly higher, further, and faster over land and sea. Throughout the war, aviation provided photoreconnaissance and defense to the movement of troops and supplies. Although it wouldn’t be fully used until the Korean War which soon follow, jet technology existed during this era.

We took our grown daughters and young grandsons to the Air Zoo. It was very entertaining for all of us. There is so much to see and do. Rides for the whole family!
