Event Spaces
The Air Zoo is a highly charged, multi-sensory atmosphere that goes beyond anything you've ever seen. It's like no place else on Earth! Located just minutes from the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, Interstate 94, many hotel options, downtown Kalamazoo, the Portage shopping corridor, and less than an hour from downtown Grand Rapids, the Air Zoo provides a convenient, centralized location that is easy for guests to reach. Voted the "Best Place to Take Out-of-Towners" and "Best Place to Spend a Day with Your Family" three years in a row, the Kalamazoo Air Zoo features more than 100 rare and historic air and space artifacts, amusement park-style rides, as well as Full-Motion Flight Simulators.
Take your event to the next level - like no place else on earth! This space can be as elegant or as exciting as you like. Guests will have an opportunity to show off their flying skills with our full-motion flight simulators and enjoy the rides that are included with your reservation as well as walk among the giants of flight and space exploration, with multiple options to fit your unique wedding! The first 100 guests are included in the reservation fee and the space can accommodate up to 1500 guests.

From receptions to catered dinners, the Mezzanine is sure to create a memorable experience for all. A unique option for smaller receptions, rehearsal dinners and bridal showers. Welcome your guests with a breathtaking view of the Air Zoo main exhibit floor and rides.

A quiet and secluded space to prepare. The meeting rooms are private and can be used for smaller celebrations leading up to the event as well. Each of the 3 rooms comfortably fit 30 people, combined can accommodate 100.

The Air Zoo can seat up to 650 for dinner. Working with two of the area's most talented and reputable caterers, the Air Zoo provides food and beverage options to fit almost every budget. Our experienced staff will work with you each step of the way to ensure your event not only exceeds expectations but also provides you and your guests with a unique and unforgettable experience full of memories to be cherished for a lifetime. Spirits? Yes, we have those too, with cash and full bar options for celebrating your special day.

Bar Service
The Air Zoo carries all required permits and is the exclusive supplier of alcoholic beverages for all events. Any alcoholic beverages served at the Air Zoo must be purchased through the venue.
