Early Flight Era [1700s – 1918]
Dreams of flight inspired aviation’s early pioneers. Balloons carried the first eighteenth century aeronauts aloft. The world caught aeroplane fever when the Wright brothers flew the first engine-powered flight. The military jumped to use this new technology in warfare, first for reconnaissance and later, for defense.

We took our grown daughters and young grandsons to the Air Zoo. It was very entertaining for all of us. There is so much to see and do. Rides for the whole family!
