PUO

A PUO on aDVD-Video Compilation is aProhibited User Operation. It allows for a DVD compilation to have instructions set for navigation buttons on a DVD player remote for example. It can be used to prevent a user skipping past an anti-piracy commerical or FBI warning, or escaping from such content by using theMenu button. PUO is considered a form ofDRM and is usually frowned upon by consumers.
