ACue Sheet, otherwise known as simply aCue file orCue, is the metadata file which plainly describes the tracks of aCD or aDVD. A cut sheet is a text file and will have a .cue extension.
The cue sheet was originally created by CDRWIN but is now supported by manyAuthoring applications and most good media players.
When talking about audio CDs, a cue sheet will show all the titles and performers on the disc as well as the length of eachTrack and other specifications.MP3,WAV and BIN files are the most normally used formats for this audio. Cue sheets become even more important for uncut one file recordings, usually done with live sets.
