The rules for deducing function template arguments from aconversion function template include provisions in13.10.3.4 [temp.deduct.conv] paragraph 2 for array and functionreturn types, even though such types are prohibited and cannotoccur in theconversion-type-id of a conversion functiontemplate. They should be removed.
Proposed resolution (February, 2010):
This issue is resolved by the resolution ofissue 976. In particular, under thatresolution, if a conversion function returns a reference to an arrayor function type, the reference will be dropped prior to theadjustments mentioned in this issue, so they are, in fact, needed.
