Lane Harrison is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He directs the Visualization and Information Equity lab at WPI (VIEW), where he and students leverage computational methods to understand and shape how people engage with data visualizations and visual analytics systems.

Prior to WPI, Lane was a PostDoc in the Visual Analytics Lab at Tufts (VALT), withRemco Chang.Lane received his PhD from UNC-Charlotte, home of the Charlotte Visualization Center, withAidong Lu.
