To put it short, this game is mostly just watching the author's incredible mental gymnastics to try to make sense of the plot. He obviously is trying to tie together points and ideas that are ridiculously far apart and it ends up feeling very lazy. A ton... Read more »
At its core, it's a mystery, and the VN did a good job of developing the mystery and setting while laying suble hints throughout the story while keeping it engaging.
The beginning is rather slowly paced, but the story picks up once we reach the main plot. I liked how the writers incorporated the theme of religion and classical art into the story and theme of Amazing Grace.
Credit to the characters too, this is one of the rare titles where every characters had their moments to shine and in the end, I ended up seeing every single one of them positively. It's hard to pick a favorite here. There are some unanswered questions but some are things we can solve by doing a bit more research.
While questionable at the former, and serviceable at the latter, it does specialize in highlighting the aesthetics of classical art, Christian concepts, and the expression of one’s self through art
Pros:
• Unique genre blend of rom-com slice of life with time-traveling mystery
• Large focus on “the principles of art” with its religious motifs; thought-provoking ideas which promote its characters' beliefs
• Charming and attractive female cast
Cons:
• Requires a VERY big suspension of disbelief in regards to certain plot developments and reveals
• Unique art focus is overshadowed by slice of life romance elements
• Pacing problems due to its genre-blend

Positive:
- Mystery - It's sheer quantity. 2 big mysteries, and at least 10 interrogations (amnesia, graffiti, drugs... Read more »
Every section of the main game is very focused both in fleshing out the characters and driving certain parts of the plot forward all while not coming off forced either. The various clues are effectively interspersed with the worldbuilding and character chemistry to make the reader actually feel that they're in a Winter Wonderland storybook of old.
The Common Route patiently acquaints the reader with the town and its people all while including subtle nudges about things being wrong. And then it launches into the mystery through the ladder structure for the routes in a way that is... Read more »
The story begins with protagonist Shuu, with a foggy mind, seeing glimpses of a girl singing near a lake. He then awakes in late November in a dorm room with two girls (one of whom is the girl from the lake), having lost all his memories. They introduce him to the new environment he finds himself in, a European-style town surrounded by a wall called the Aurora that is said to have protected the town from the Apocalypse 101 years ago, and which Shuu seemingly crossed. Shuu enrolls in the town's only high school, St. Aria Academy, which has a unique curriculum... Read more »
