It has actions, conflicts, and many more that interested me a lot. However, I didn't like the story weight of each episode, which lots of players would agree. I think that9Sorairo and9Haruiro have pretty well-balanced story weight. But, compared to them,9Kokoiro and9Yukiiro are not balanced at all. Especially, in9Kokoiro, it barery tells us aboutKujou Miyako. Although the episode is about her, it is more likely a prologue of all the story (because it actually is). I thinkPalette should have released an actual prologue as a free and short trial, so that the story ofMiyako could have been more weighted in9Kokoiro. In9Yukiiro, it's also little less weighted aboutYuuki Noa. AfterTHAT TWIST, they should've ended, and release another episode, likeNew Episode, to evenly balance the story weight out. If they had done that,9Yukiiro would be more concentrated onNoa. Even though I criticized little bit, I still like Nine series. The story and how it was directed is what I like about this series. The visualization ofOverload in9Yukiiro was the coolest part of the game for me. What do you think? Do you have any other thoughts?Last modified on 2021-03-26 at 21:37 |

After THAT TWIST, they should've ended, and release another episode Why? like really, in which world anyone would like to be blueballed and wait for the next release?I also didn't like how Kujo was treated in her own episode but thanks to the fact that EP1 is a prologue I think episodes 2-4 were actually well balanced between the heroines and the actual story. In general I prefer when the VN doesn't waste to much time trying to make a character more "profound" than it actually is with unnecessary scenes and dialogue, specially if the heroines are not actually that complex. I would like a longer EP1 but I think EP's 2-4 are good as they are IMO. |
| #4 bydiabloryuzaki 2021-03-27 at 08:20 | <report >9-nine is good when it is become episode vn rather than a whole. if 9-nine appear as a whole first then you will found more people will hate miyako route because her route is just a prologue as episode vn and you can ignore it completely as a whole vn. but at the same time i feel curious how palette will make branch path in new episode after player have read all the episode before, i hope there is no awkward branch selection like what i have found in DC4 |

Especially considering the final scene they dropped at the endwhere Sophie mentions about a final investigation, pertaining the very first branch, the beginning of it all and we see Miyako's back forward from the shrine at night. Miyako definitely deserved better. |
