Venus blood expectations

<report >Hi everyone !
I've played VB series since Abyss and always felt it had high gameplay potential, quite similar to pokemon series with every episodes coming with their new creatures/units and mechanics to pile up with what already existed previously and thus widening your options in terms of teambuilding.
And then..... Venus blood -BRAVE-.....
So i'm wondering what's happening... I checked this upcoming -LAGOON- and it seems they kinda came back to GAIA/HYPNO gameplay, which definitely suits my tastes but all the units seems "dragonized". Fair enough... Can't judge if it will be good or bad with just that but it seems they're trying to put up some big changes and that's what i don't understand : was there a real need for change ? For as much as i heard/read, VenusBlood was steadily earning fame (especially with GAIA and HYPNO ). Don't get me wrong : i'm not saying trying new things is bad (hell no ! even though i disliked BRAVE quite a lot, if they felt like it was needed then so be it) but they seem to start going for a more "stand-alone" type of series.
Which makes me wonder : what do you expect from VenusBlood ? We may disagree on "which one is best : ABYSS/GAIA gameplay or FRONTIER/HYPNO/RAGNAROK" and such (and keep going with both was perfectly fine) but by the end of the day i thought we would all agree "the more and diverse the better" so... I dunno, maybe i'm the one being "wrong" and ppl are actually perfectly fine the way it goes ? Maybe you have some informations i don't ? I know Keimaru (i guess that's him) has (had ?) health issues so maybe it's related ? Or they simply felt they couldn't keep going the way it was ?Last modified on 2018-10-03 at 10:33
