Scotty McCreery will be headed out on tour this summer -- but this time, it's not to perform music; it's to sign books. The singer revealed last year that he was working on his autobiography, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream, and he's now announced a 14-city book tour to promote the new project.

McCreery's book tour will begin on May 3 in Ridgewood, N.J., and will take him to bookstores across the country, in New York, Minnesota, Texas, Illinois, Tennessee and more states; many of his stops are at stores such as Books-a-Million, Barnes & Noble and LifeWay Christian Store. The tour ends in McCreery's hometown of Garner, N.C., on "Scotty McCreery Day" -- May 14 -- with an event on the campus of First Baptist Church of Garner, of which the singer is a member.

Go Big or Go Home brings fans on McCreery's journey to stardom. From imitatingElvis Presley on the school bus to winning Season 10 ofAmerican Idol, McCreery shares his growth as an artist and the impact that his faith, family and friends have had on him.

“God gave me a voice, and America gave me a chance,” McCreerysays in a press release. “This book is about those two things, and about the amazing journey that began the moment I decided to say two words about this show I knew and loved: ‘Why not?’”

Go Big or Go Homewill retail for $24.99 and is currently available for pre-order atAmazon.com,BarnesAndNoble.com,Walmart.com andChristianBook.com. Locations and times for McCreery's tour are listed below and can also be found atScottyMcCreery.com.
