While theAlliancefleet mounts a majorcampaign againsta deadly warlord,Ysanne Isard has seized control ofThyferra, intending to use its precious supply ofbacta to destabilize and destroy theNew Republic. The cover of the novel does not match the text. In the book, Rogue Squadron does not battle all of Ysanne Isard's Star Destroyers, and no Mon Calamari frigates helped in the Bacta War.
