TheWurrif-class was designed to escort the large, vital ships of the Ssi-ruuvi fleet, such asShree-class battle cruisers,Sh'ner-class planetary assault carriers, andLwhekk-class manufacturing ships. They would also participate in combat operations with at least threeFw'Sen-class picket ship in which the smaller ships would disable a target with their ion cannons allowing theWurrif cruiser to use a tractor beam to capture the ship.[1]
Wurrif cruisers were 400 meters long and carried 200Swarm-class battle droids. They were armed with the Ssi-ruuvi equivalent of 6 heavyturbolasers, 24ion cannons, and 12tractor beam projectors.[1]
They were the smallest known Ssi-ruuvi warship crewed by Ssi-ruuvi officers. TheWurrif's crew complement consisted of 200 Ssi-ruuk, 1500P'w'eck slaves and 156entecheddroids. The vessel could carry up to 2,000metric tons of cargo.[1]
