Witch was a term that designated anyfemale practitioner ofmagic, such as theNightsisters ofDathomir, who were able to use themagick of their homeworld (a unique manifestation and practice of theForce, often specifically of thedark side),[2] or theBrendok coven, who practicedthe Force (which they called the Thread) through arcane means.[1] It could also be used colloquially in reference to a very unpleasant woman.[3]
