Whales were a type of creature that existed in various locations acrossthe galaxy; which included theCartusion whale,^[1] theruhau-whale,^[2] and theoceanicstarwhalespecies.^[3] Thecyborg creatures that formed thewhale-ships,^[4] and thespace-faringpurrgil were also considered whale-like species.^[5] Additionally, theaiwhas—non-sentient species^[6] of wingedcetaceansnative to theplanetKamino^[7]—were also called "air whales."^[8]
