TheVue'zae was a civilianGR-75 medium transport in service during theGalactic Civil War.^[1] In1 ABY,^[2] theVue'zae was traveling in theKashyyyk system when it was attacked by theGhrag Mercenaries in theTyyyn Nebula. TheCivilian Protection Guild therefore dispatched a group ofpilots to rescue the damaged transport. The CPGstarfighters destroyed several Ghrag pirates and docked with theVue'zae to deliver a newpower generator. TheVue'zae was then escorted by the CPG to theKashyyyk Space Station until it finally left the system.^[1]

Therefore, at least a portion ofStar Wars Galaxies must be set in thatyear. Furthermore, in the gameRuwan Tokai references thedestruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, andStrongholds of Resistance also places the events ofGalaxies'Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in1 ABY. Lastly, whileChapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features theBattle of Hoth—dated to3 ABY byThe New Essential Chronology—the developers havestated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events ofStar Wars Galaxies must span from 0ABY to around 1 ABY.
