Viewscreen

Aviewscreen, also known as aholoscreen,^[1]display screen,^[2] orvidscreen,^[3] was a device for displaying images or information for the view of an audience.^[1] The main component of a viewscreen was the alloytransparisteel, which was made of theminerallommite.^[4]

TheTrade Federation used rippling circular viewscreens aboard itsLucrehulk-class battleships.^[5]Darth VaderForce chokedAdmiralKendal Ozzel at a great distance while seeing him through a viewscreen.^[6] Pentagonal viewscreens were common in theGalactic Empire, as exemplified by those aboard thefirst^[7] andsecond Death Star,^[8] aboard the theSuper Star DestroyerExecutor,^[6] and in theshield generator bunker onEndor.^[8]
