Behind the scenes[]
The service droid model first appeared inDarth Vader (2020) 37, which was written byGreg Pak and illustrated byRaffaele Ienco.[2] The service droid features the same head design as amonster droid model, which Ienco has clarified has a modified KX-series head.[5] As the service droid has the same head design, he reasoned they too must have modified KX-series heads.[1]
