Thatyear,^[2] during anattack on theGalactic Republicprison shipRestitution, Wittick—who served as acounselor aboard thevessel—hit away ascav droid with ablaster rifle. Theprisoner Sal Krost—secretly theNihilTempest RunnerLourna Dee—then noted the hit had been a strong one, to which Wittick responded by mentioning the academy and itsphaseball team, which he had batted for.^[1]
