Opening crawl[]

Master Mace Windu is known far and wide as one of the Jedi Order's most formidable warriors. But what theenemies of the Republic DON'T know about Mace could be their undoing....

Plot summary[]

Jedi MasterMace Windu traveled toOosalon to investigate thewarlordGuattako'schildarmy, and why it was funded by theHutts. After he was captured by his forces he was led by aKyuzo calledKyossk and a teenage-aged individual calledQuia to his hideout. After confronted with Guattako, Windu demanded him to drop the operation, giving him a chance to surrender. After Guattako refused, Windu repairedhis brokenlightsaberusingthe Force and pulled it to himself, slicing Kyossk's hand off in the process, and Guattako sent his men to attack him. After deflecting theirblaster bolts,Quia began to send bolts towards Windu. Guattako then engaged in combat with Mace, swinging hisaxe at him. Guattako hit Mace with the end of his axe knocking him out of the fight for a couple seconds. Before Guattako was able to swing at Windu again, ascared Pantoran youngling shot Guattako in the chest,killing him. Afterwards, Jedi MastersPlo Koon,Kit Fisto,Depa Billaba, andQui-Gon Jinn, who Windu had called with the Force, arrived to the scene and MacehologramedGrand MasterYoda, who told him that Quia would be sent toprison by the local authorities, which prompted Windu to ask if they really saved everyone.
