Her name appears to be an anagram forAndre Kirk, the lead art director for the game.[1]
Knire Dark bears a notable resemblance to theAncient EgyptiangodAnubis.[2] The name of herspecies, Syboona, when spelled backwards phonetically sounds like the word Anubis, thus making the connection stronger.[3]
