Summer was, on certainplanets such asLothal, thewarmestseason of theyear, occurring betweenspring andautumn. At the peak of summer, thedaytimes were at their longest and the nights were at their shortest.[1] During summer onHoth, the temperature crept up to about 10 degrees below freezing, which was still distinctly warmer than in the other seasons.[2]
