TheStar Wars Blog was the officialblog onStarWars.com. It has since been merged into the official site's "News + Blog" section, with most posts being re-published as articles. The last blog post was made onJune 24,2014 with the blog shutting down shortly thereafter. The subdomain now redirects to the News section onStarWars.com.

It featured contributions byAlbin Johnson,Ashley Eckstein,Jenn Fujikawa,Bryan Young,Casey Pugh,Dave Filoni,Jennifer Landa,Jonathan W. Rinzler,Katie Cook,Leland Chee,Mary Franklin,Pablo Hidalgo,Pete Vilmur,Stephen J. Sansweet, and the StarWars.com Team.

It replaced theStar Wars: Blogs prior to the2011 website revamp, where multiple users could create their own blogs on StarWars.com.

Starting onSeptember 9,2013, the blog began running a top-ten list called "The StarWars.com Ten," which involves the top ten aspects of a category ofStar Wars chosen by the blog's staff. The first top-ten list featured lightsaber duels and the second featured starfighters.
