Plot summary[]
Shortly after reaching Nar Shaddaa, Mace Windu attempts to stop a man from killingan old beggar woman. When Master Windu suddenly finds himself outgunned, Billaba reveals her presence. After the remaining thugs are chased off, a third, mysterious Jedi appears and gives them information on their search for theakk dogs. Grateful to the Jedi, the old woman gives them one of her only possessions: an oldswoop, with which to reach the lower levels. As the two Masters approach their destination, they are attacked by viciousvrblthers.
