Plot summary[]
As theGran governor delays theJedi, they discuss they matters at hand. Finally, thetalks begin and the respective diplomats are brought in. Tempers get hot quick at the negotiations, andMasterWindu is forced to end talks for the day early. Meanwhile the final race of theVinta Harvest Classic is beginning. As they leave, the Lannik advisorHutar Zash offers the Jedi councilors a ride. To their surprise, their Lannik hosts attempt an assassination on the Jedi's lives on the way. The Jedi narrowly escape, but fall straight into the path of the oncomingpodracers.
