Standard Galactic Grid

TheStandard Galactic Grid was a reference system used in giving the location of agalactic point by grid coordinates. Each grid square was assigned a letter increasing from galactic west to east and a number increasing from galactic north to south. For example, theRebel AlliancepilotFar Needle Theta once spotted theDeath Star in the grid area designated H-10,^[1] theplanetKashyyyk was placed on grid square P-9, andCoruscant on L-9.^[2]
