Spindrift was aplanet in theSpindrift system, located in theOuter Rim'sRseik sector.^[1] An isolated world, Spindrift was home to anImperial outpost calledSpindrift Station during the era of theGalactic Civil War. In3 ABY, Spindrift Station was attacked by aRebelsquadron flying repurposedTIE starfighters, whocaptured the station in order to obtain route coordinates for an Imperial armada^[2] carrying a unique creature called ateezl.^[3]
