Sith scrolls ortomes were ancientSith writings, scribed by the very hand of aDark Lord of the Sith.

History[]

The ancientDark Lord of the SithDarth Andeddu was the author of manySith scrolls which he hoarded in hisFortress on hishomeworld ofPrakith.[3]

After theGreat Hyperspace War in5000 BBY, the majority of Sith scrolls, among other artifacts, were destroyed by theJedi Order. LikeSith amulets, scrolls were deemed dangerous, since they propagated Sith teachings and often possessed the ability to drive their reader insane.[8][9]

In3997 BBY,[10] waywardJediExar Kun found ancient Sith scrolls[1] that were written byNaga Sadow[4] when he raided theTomb of Freedon Nadd.Freedon Nadd gave the scrolls to Kun after he opened the sarcophagus.[1]

During thereign ofEmperorPalpatine, two of hisHands,Roganda Ismaren andBlackhole, obtained and studied ancient Sith scrolls that contained knowledge of the forgotten art ofmechu-deru.[6]
