They were generally seen on theplanetDathomir, near the village ofAurilia, though were reportedly seen on other planets also. Though many species were Sith Shadows,Wookiees were never seen. TheDark JediMellichae led the Shadows until imprisoned by the citizens of Aurilia.

The Sith Shadows may have engaged in regular thefts in the village of Aurilia: they were often found carrying valuable resources only used there. Those resources were often returned by spacers and used for much-needed repairs.
